What are trips?Trips are at the heart of the Christian Travelers Network - a place for you to share your upcoming adventures and invite others to join you in exploring the world through the lens of faith. As we build out this feature together, trips will become an organic way for believers to connect, gather for impromptu worship and Bible studies, and be witnesses for Christ wherever your journeys take you. Unlike typical group tours, these trips arise from our community members extending warm invitations for fellow Christian travelers to join their personal vacations and pilgrimages. You get to decide the destinations, activities, and overall experience. Then open it up for others to meet you there and journey together! The beauty is in the flexibility and grassroots connections. Maybe your trip starts as a solo pilgrimage, but you'll meet up with others along the way for times of fellowship. Or a family opens their travel plans to welcome additional believers to share in their God-moments on the road. Some may even weave service projects into their adventures. This goes beyond short-term missions by allowing you to be traveling disciples wherever you roam, while gaining the support, companionship and inspiration of your Christian travel community. As pioneers helping shape this trips platform, your ideas and experiences will guide how we facilitate these organic, faith-inspired travel connections.

What are communities?Communities are where the Christian Travelers Network really comes to life - vibrant hubs for you to connect with fellow believers, on a regular basis, who share your passions for travel, adventure, and experiencing God's presence in the world around you. As we build out this feature together, you'll help shape these communities based on the interests and travel styles that inspire you most. Maybe you're an avid camper who wants to share devotionals around the campfire. Or a budding Christian photographer looking to explore how to capture God's creation more intentionally. Are you a cruising family seeking others to swap tips and port bible study locations? An RV roamer with a heart for the open road? A lifelong student of culture who wants to dig into the roots of faith around the globe? Whatever your niche, you'll shape the events, Bible studies, discussions and connections that help you delve deeper into how God's presence and influence intersect with your travels. Some may organize frequent gatherings in a particular area of the world while others may opt to meet virtually. These are just a few ideas - we need your vision and involvement to make these communities flourish! As members, you'll breathe life into the spaces that help nurture meaningful connections and spiritual growth amidst your shared journey.
